We meet at Lovö Magasin at 14.00 and then roll between Lovö Magasin and Norrby (4,5 km) where we camp in the forest next to Lake Mälaren.
In the evening we have dinner and get to know each other before crawling into the tents for a good night's sleep.
10.00-21.00
The day starts with breakfast at 8:00. The hike starts around 10:00 and goes between Norrby and TräSjö-gården (13,5 km). For connecting hikers, the hike starts at Strömdal at 10:30 am. Tents and gear not needed during the day are transported to the campsite. Lunch packs are packed after breakfast and taken by each person to the lunch spot.
We spend the second night in our camp in the meadow next to TräSjö-gården, where we enjoy a nice dinner and socializing during the evening.
10.00-15.00
The day starts with breakfast at 8:00. The hike starts around 10:00 and goes between TräSjö-gården and Ekebyhovs slott via Jungfrusundsåsens recreational area (approx. 8 km). The finish line is in the castle park, where refreshments are served. Tents and gear not needed during the day will be transported to the finish line.

Price for the entire hike: 2000 SEK, Price for a single stage: 1000 SEK. The price includes accommodation, food and logistics between the campsites, i.e. transport of all equipment that is not needed by participants during the day. The registration fee includes 1 year membership in the Skogstur association (value 150:-).
You register for the hike HERE. You will then receive a booking confirmation by email with further information. Once you have registered, i.e. paid, you will receive more information about the hike and addresses for the start and finish points, which is especially good for those who are coming with a transport service.
The surface changes during the hike. Most of the route consists of gravel and asphalt. Contact us for more precise stage descriptions.

Absolutely, just let us know when you register and we'll arrange it.
We expect to have about 30 people. If you would like to book a Zoom Uphill, there are 3 available for rent. First come, first served, so book yours today!
There are several ways to contribute to the project. We are currently looking for sponsors for the event and would like to highlight local businesses along the hiking stages, as well as businesses that share our values that everyone should have the right to meaningful and active leisureregardless of functional variation. We are primarily looking for financial contributions to be able to keep costs down for participants, as the target group often has worse financial conditions than the average person. Contact us to find out how you can contribute in a smooth way. Every contribution is valuable and helps to make a positive difference.
If you don't have equipment, is it possible to rent it from you?
Yes, it is possible to rent certain equipment (sleeping bag, sleeping mat, thermos, etc.). Contact us for more information.
Are there toilets available during the hike?
Yes, we will bring a simpler version of a mobile toilet that can be used during lunch breaks and in connection with campsites that lack a fixed HCP toilet.
Is it possible to get a transfer to and from the hike?
Yes! Our fantastic service partner WeRunSweden offers the possibility of getting a transfer to and from Den Långa Vandringen if you live in the Stockholm area*. The bus is HCP-adapted and will take you, your luggage and any wheelchair safely! To book a transfer, add it as an option when you book your ticket for the hike.
*The number of places is limited so it is first come, first served.
